Speed limit reduces from 65mph to 45mph immediately after the hill in southern direction. "You are speeding before you can see the posting"
Comment (5/2002): The main time they are hanging here is after Midnight, mainly looking for drunk drivers. Last time I have been stopped here they only give out warnings cause they want to get back looking for drunk drivers.
Comment (8/2002): Not on the officers side but the speed IS posted with plenty of time to see it as well as "Spped Limit Reduced Ahead" signs. The road is designed however, so that a person who is not aware of speed (like those who may be watching the stop lights ahead) start down a steep hill in to the reduced area. Watch your speed here, and watch the signs!

An Apple Valley plain wrapper Monte Carlo (Black)will sit on 77 north just on the south edge of the I-35 brodge. He has a plain view of cars coming North on 77 towards the bridge and uses laser - Be careful as you cannot see him till it is too late!

This used to be a good place to speed, but the cops have caught onto that. Usually just look for a plain wrapper Impala(black) just sitting on the road. Slow down from that point on.

He was clocking while in motion going opposite direction, and they are not afraid to jump that median!!! on my way to school I saw 3 more cops in the imediate area and 5 more on the way home on 160th, county 42, cedar, and pilot knob.

Almost daily a police car is stationed on Gardenview (a residential street) where the speed limit is 30 mph. Many people use this street as a 'shortcut', thus avoiding Cedar. Be aware and drive 30 or you WILL get nailed.

Unmakred Impala squad, silver in color usually sits at the intersection just north of Flight Way on Flagstaff Avenue. Officers will get you with the laser going northbound or southbound. The speedlimit is 40mph. I live in that area, and see this all the time. Please slow down.

Officers sit on the side of the road opposite of the middle school entrance. They are usually there in the evenings during the school year. Usually about 6:00 cars parked a long Gardenview are at a low for the day and it becomes easier for drivers to begin exceeding the spped limit. Officers will pull you over for any speed infraction regardless of the degree. Anything over 30 and you are fair game.

Just east of Foliage Ave, south side of 147th St. W, there is a Wal Mart loading/unloading dock where the police park. The area is partially covered with foliage. The speed limit 30 mph, very unrealistic for the road. Unmarked Mustangs have been used.
