got busted for speed and seatbelt, $55 fine, between little falls and brainerd.

Comment (1/2003): Got busted TWICE on 371 by the SAME trooper (in a span of less than 2 years)! Speed limit is 55 but most drivers average about 60-62 so if you're going to speed, make sure you set the cruise to no more than 64. May as well paint a bullseye on your front or back bumper if you're going to go faster than 64...

Comment (2/2004): I drive through there every Friday From Easter to Thanksgiving...65 tops unless you have a lot of company in front of you!

Comment (2/2004): The Speed laws are for your safety as well as the other people on the road, if you want to speed go to a race track, where you won't hurt anyone else.

Comment (4/2004): Geez, that road it terrible, high traffic volume and only two lanes? Noone should be speeding. Well, it's getting changed to fourlane ATM anyway

Comment (6/2004): I drive this straight, open road on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons and 371 is always over patrolled. I've been lucky so far, but there are lot's of cops on the road.
