At the bottom of the hill on Jeffco opposite the courthouse, cops seem to like to hide behind the supports of the railroad tracks. So when you're driving northbound down the hill away from St. John's church on Jeffco, you don't even see them until you've passed the tracks.

During construction they imposed very high fines for speeding. the fact is that this area had more open lanes and was a less dangerous area which didnt really justify 250 plus fines. I guess they got so used to the money they have to keep it up. Interestingly, this stretch leaves out alot of the town's citizens. I would rather just see state police patrolling (they now are) than a hick local police force.

one of arnold's finest will sit in the median of 141 in the middle of that big curve right before astra way. they will run no lights and you have no warning until your car ligts up that pricy higly reflective paint job

they sit on top of a overpass just south of the Arnold Exit regularly. just look up after you pass Arnold going south on 55....or just past Richardson Rd. if going north.

Arnold, MO. A controversial trap has been set up at this and 2 other intersections in Arnold, MO. Cameras to catch motorists speeding through the stop lights have been installed by a contractor. The other 2 intersections are at; I-55 and Richardson, Jeffco again in front of the school. It should be noted that these cameras have shortened the time the yellow light stays on. All of this while they sit on I-55 and pick off motorists.

Watch out Northbound 55 - They sit up on the Hwy 141 exit getting onto Hwy 55 North. Sometimes it's just one, sometimes a whole line, Hwy 141 is the last exit leaving Jefferson County heading into St.Louis County. That exit is their scheduled bread and butter exit.
