Coming into Memphis on 55 North speed reduces from 70 to 60 Horn Lake and Southaven City police are shooting radar under overpass hiding behind concrete pillars in median. I don't think it's right for them to be giving tickets on a federal highway which should be out of their jurisdiction.

Comment (9/2002): the highway is in Southavens jurisdiction, and they are allowed to write tickets there!

Comment (9/2002): This is NOT Horn Lake's jurisdiction. If you are going to put a speed trap on here, make sure you know your area. I hope Southaven continues to do their job and catches you and many more!

Comment (9/2002): Actually it's an interstate highway but it is in the jurisdiction of Southaven City Limits and SPD was given permission from the Mississippi Highway Patrol to run radar on it.

Comment (1/2004): I believe in the state of Mississippi if a jurisdiction has more than 3 exits in their city they are allowed to enforce it.They are Southaven not HL. They will give you 10.
