This trap is on state Hwy 15, inside Ecru, MS,city limits. Usually as far as the day, the town cop is on the side of road checking from Hwy 345(road going into Ecru) heading south toward the city of Pontotoc. There is a speed limit of 45 on this stretch of road. Also, the state MHP patrols this for a hobby because it is easy picking, due to the traffic flow and because two of the local MHP live in this little town. The district office is only 7 miles away in New Albany. At night, the town cop is uaually parked at the city limit sign on Hwy 15, heading south from Union Co. They also, have a tendency to put up roadblocks at night, usually on Fri. or Sat, late.

Comment (7/2005): No joke, I live in pontotoc and right there in that little stretch I never fail to see a car pulled over
