Comment (6/2003): Yes, The Ellisville cops love this stretch of road. They are after the Jones junior college students and Ellisville State School Employees.

Comment (1/2004): I was employed with the Jone Junior Collage Campas Police Department. The hole town is a speed trap.Its a very small town with alot of board Police Officers. If you come through late at nite not speeding they will stop you for careless driving.

Comment (7/2004): The Police Department in Ellisville has been known to make the traffic laws up as they go. I would know. I had to stop at an intersection to let two school buses go by but when the cop came over the interstate bridge I pulled out. He then pulled me over and wrote me up for not stopping at the sign.

Comment (04/2010): Highway 29-North at the city limits. The city recently reduced the speed from 45 to mph just as you are coming down a rather steep hill. The turkeys hid at the turnoff to the elementary school and pick people off coming down the hill and into town.
