Officer likes to sit just inside city limits on Hwy 9 N, so he can nab those coming into city as speed limit drops from 55 mph to 35 mph. Fine can be well over $100. An obvious fund-raiser for the town.

Comment (10/2003): I'm from Memphis and often drive to Eupora to see my grandchildren. There are clearly marked speed limit signs on the north end of town which drop from 55 to 45, and then to 35. The 35mph sign is near a sports park where it is needed for the protection of children. There is also a stop sign just past the park. I would not call it a speed trap.

Comment (4/2004): I payed a ticker in cash in Eupora, it never showed up on my record.
