Don't think you can't get a ticket in Montana- Mineral County has some enforcement that anywhere else would be considered fairly light, but they were the only traffic cops I saw in Montana. Can't really say how firmly the limits are enforced, because I was scooting along quite a bit over the limit, but it was only a 40$ (paid on the spot) ticket and no insurance issues since I was out of state. This is the way speed enforcement should be done!

Comment (6/2003): Tickets on I- 90 in mineral county are cheap cause they soak locals on the back roads.

Comment (3/2005): Mineral County cops are on the freeway much more than on the surface steets. Smells MONEY.
