Worse at night when young, unexperienced cops on duty. Fri-Sat nights. This is main route from Billings, Montana to Cody and Powell, Wyoming

Comment (3/2006): The highway is actually US 310. Both Bridger and Fromberg have high enforcement presence. In Bridger, watch for three speed limit changes: 70 to 35 to 25 and then back up to 70, with a brief 45 limit south of town. Also, local officers take the town's four crosswalks very seriously. If a pedestrian even looks like they might cross the street, hit the brakes.

Comment (10/2004): Montana's state highway speed limits basically copied Texas, with their 70 daytime/65 night time speed limit, (10 less for trucks)

Comment (4/2005): Speed zones go from 70, 45, 35 to 25 in a matter of 150 feet! Slam on your brakes hard.

Comment (7/2005): The young cop on the weekends will ticket you for anything. If you fight his tickets, they will get kicked out because the judge knows he gives bad tickets. Fight them!

Comment (12/2005): Young cop on weekends is actualy a female and gets mad when you call her sir. Call her maam and you will get a warning.
