Coming down the hill and going through the light, it's nearly impossible to stay at 45 mph. Patrol cars hide on the north side of the FVCC sign which blocks viewing of their car. Plus new development after the college keeps the limit at 45 until you pass reserve.

The current description of this enforcement location contains errors. The speed limit increases to 55 mph a hundred feet or so north of the northern entrance to FVCC. As for the statement that it's "nearly impossible [for northbound traffic] to stay at 45 mph" going down the hill, I have no trouble at all holding at 45 without braking. I would not classify this as a speed trap.

Many of the roads around are 25. Watch out in the whole area around it, most everything could probably be 35 as it is a two lane divided road. Kalispell has been know to use lots of unmarked cop cars so watch for anything with a spotlight or wnything parked by the ditch.
