Comment (6/2004): I used to live in Cut Bank and I don't think that area is a speed trap either. That's a pretty dangerous stretch on Hwy 2 considering there's not much of a shoulder, drunk driving occurs, farm machines are always entering, the wind is always blowing, and there are a few spots that are open range for cattle. It's probably a good thing the cops frequent that area! :) | |
Comment (6/2004): This isn't really a speed trap. I've driven that stretch of Highway 2 hundreds of times and have seen cops along that stretch less than a quarter of the time. Plus for the majority of the trip you can see the oncoming traffic for miles ahead. There are really only a couple of good spots for 5.0 to hide, but I've never seen a cop in any of them. | |
