The open stretch of Hwy. 75 between Murray and Nebraska City may seem desolate late at night, but at least two patrol cars were parked, about two miles apart, along the side at night to catch speeders coming over the hill. The speed limit is 60, but motorists typically drive over 70, and it is easy to lose track of your speed when going down the long hills on this open highway.
