Police sit in the parking lot of the Aranco Oil Parking lot at the intersection of Sewells Fallls Road. I have only seen then sitting there when the office is closed 5pm-8am. They like to hide in the back of the lot and get cars as the speed by in the 30 mph zone | |

SOUTHBOUND interstate 93. Just outside the northern city limits of Concord, the spped limit drops from 65 to 55 MPH. The State Police sit on a turn around in the median strip about 100ft past the sign. Since morotists will naturally be looking to the left at the cruiser, they won't notice the 55 MPH sign on the right and what might have been a 5mph infraction then becomes a 15 MPH infraction and ticket worthy. I believe this is by design. As this is the main route down from the Lakes region, enforcement is stepped up on holiday weekends,Out-of-state motorists are more at risk | |
