The Staties now are using cars they apparently confiscated so they look like ordinary breakdowns at the side of the road. They have blacked out windows, something that would get us a ticket if we had them on our cars. Also be on the lookout for what look like work trucks.

Comment (10/2005): I also have heard ot this, with them using unmarked crown vics with For Sale signs on them etc..Be on the lookout for Dodge Durango and Ford Excursion Cop Trucks cause they use these now.

Comment (11/2004): Havent noticed this yet but I believe it anythings possible in nj to write tickets and make money. so it dont surprise me.

Comment (8/2005): Yes, they are getting tougher to spot! In addition to the usual looking "trooper style- NJSP" un-marked cars, I have seen two different souped up looking Mustangs or Grand Prix type w/O lights BUT radar mounted on the dash! These were further up the road though, m/m 80 to 120.

This road has a posted speed limit of 45 mph when most other roads in the area are posted for 50. Traffic continues at greater than 50 mph with police, especially Mullica, will post radar traps.
