There are several hiding spots on the north and south bound sides of Rt. 295 where the state police hide and run their radar. Limits are 65 in many spots, but fines are doubled as well, so they enforce closely.

Comment (8/2002): Anywhere between the 130/295 junction and the 195/295 junction state police presence is guaranteed, whether sitting in the middle near or at the scenic over-look or driving down the highway. This is understandable because that stretch of highway appears to be the perfect spot to drive fast, even though there's a state police barracks right next to the 130/295 junction. On any given day a motorist can count up to 3 to 4 state police cruisers just in that short span.

Heading northbound on NJ TPK between exit 6 (PA TPK) and Exit 7, you will encounter an overpass used by cops. There is normally a cruiser sitting on this overpass clocking cars. They will ticket you if you are doing anything over 80 in a 65 mph zone.
