All cut throughs from north bound to south,no turns allowed. They hide on that path,or behinde bushes.I got hit at rest plaza also.he was on top of the hill to the left.I was going north, just past exit 28 on the other side of the hill, they sit at the botom.in the median.

Comment (4/2006): Yeah, right after the parkway north exit. The safer spots are where the medians are. After rt 322 exit heading north, they have better things to do. There are 3 barracks located near hammonton. Also, they love to take advantage of dusk and dawn.

Comment (6/2005): I live in Atlantic City, NJ. I am always on the express way. The State Troopers LOVE being inbetween the illegal u turns. If you see a sign for one of those illegal Up- Turn their is prob a State Trooper. Usually I do not see that many. I drive from AC to Philly regularly and do not see many state troopers. Careful on the park way. Their are alot out there.

Comment (6/2005): The MO for the NJSP on the Expressway is to hide in the median cut-throughs. They use MPH Industries K-55 X-band instant-on radar. They also occasionally can be found secreted behind bushes off the right shoulder. As they are creatures of habit, if you travel this road frequently, you will know all of their hiding spots. During low traffic periods, always check your speed when you come into view of a Do-Not-Enter sign in the median. You will have time to slow down as you can spot the sign before they spot you and turn on their radar. During more crowded traffic periods, you will be able to detect the instant-on radar clocking other cars in front of you. One final note. The MPH K-55 is often operated in moving mode. If you see NJSP coming in the other direction, slow down as they will check your speed and then make a U-turn to come after you. Enforcement can be heavy at times. While travelling the 44 mile road, I have seen four or more cars pulled over in one trip so don't necessarily conclude that you're in the clear if you pass one speed trap.

Comment (8/2005): i completly agree with you ..i was following the flow of traffic and then all of a a sudden everyone slams on their brakes at once because poof there is a cop from behind a set of trees

Comment (8/2005): Be careful leaving AC going west after the bridge at the first bend they hide out their on the right.

Comment (4/2006): I take the AC Expressway to the casinos about 4 times a month...I live in South Jersey and travel pretty much the entire length when I go to AC...I've never been pulled over and regularly travel at about 75-80 the whole way...all in all, I find that the Stateys leave you alone as long as you're not racing someone or weaving all over the place...
