The cops like to sit on top of the overpasses and will hide behind bushes in between the freeway. There is usually at least 3 of them working at a time. They rotate locations frequently, so you have to be careful along the entire Santa Fe to Albuquerque stretch of I-25
Comment (8/2002): Only one or two hours before and after rush hour. Actually a good thing. Hopefully they will notice the speed demon that doesn't care who they run off the road to get where they want. If in the rush hour everybody followed the rules with common sence and patience they would not have to be there. Since this is a pipe dream, they do their best to keep it safe. I am not a cop, but I understand why they do what the do. They are ordered to do a job. Don't ever shoot the mesinger or hang the enforcer.
Comment (9/2003): I drive a taxi for a living, and I can tell you that the cops are ALWAYS looking for speeders on I-25 between the Tramway exit and Santa Fe. I have seen them out there at 1:15 in the morning through 7:00 A.M. on several occasions. If you are going to speed through there, be sure to have your radar/laser detector on, and GOOD LUCK!
