I was cited for 84 MPH in a 75 MPH zone in an extremely remote area of Interstate 80 while going through a tunnel at the descent of Golconda Summit.

Comment (5/2004): The same exact thing just happened to me 5/2004 at the exact same spot. Told me 88 when I had my cruise control dialed in for an entire trip across the country!I STRONGLY recommend anyone who gets a trumped up ticket do not just send in your hard earned money! Clog the court system, educate yourself, and fight the ticket. I will be printing this page about the tunnel trap in nevada and going right to court. Give these cops as many headaches as you can, and they might think twice!
