Henderson motorcycle patrols have set up speed traps behind all kinds of obsticles and claim that you were speeding. The reality is that the radar cannot go through solid block walls, trees, hills of dirt or down a mountain yet they seem to have solved that problem by locking there radar guns at a high rate of speed and then they puts the blame on anyone driving through. Even the court judge will defend the citation and deny any wrong doing of the Henderson police. Note that since September 11th, the city of Henderson has been using portable speed traps to generate revenue during hard economic times.

Stephanie Street is one the exits off of I-215 in Henderson and is a quick way to seveal strip malls and a large shopping mall. The motorcycle police set up in the employee/back parking lot of the DMV, hiding behind the DMV Sign. The road way is new with two lanes in both directions and a paved sholder. Its an easy road to exceed the speed limit, considering you have just exited the freeway. Its a great revenue maker for Henderson. One block further in the same direction is a school zone that the police also run radar in.

Westbound on Horizon Ridge Pkwy from Horizon Dr. the road is a relatively steep downgrade. At the bottom of the road, just around the bend, motorcycle officers hide just out of view. Usually around the times where children are being dropped off by school busses or around 4-7pm two-four motorcycle cops are waiting on the corner of milicity and las pamas endrada one with a radar gun the others waiting to go get someone. The speed limit is 25, not 35 like you think, a relitive was coming to visit and was going 35 and they caught him. WATCH OUT!
