Three to four motorcycle cops sit in the church parking lot hidden behind the wall zapping cars that usually dont slow down for the 25mph school zone. You cant even see those signs until it's too late so watch out.

They are just all over this area, because of the glut of 25 mph zones, and a 35 mph on a road that should be 45. My work is at this intersection, and I see them once a week minimum. On Tenaya S of Smoke R, they like to hide in the entrance of the power substation, nearly IMPOSSIBLE to spot until it's too late, especially in twilight. Rock Springs Rd. east of and parallel to Tenaya is just as bad.

Two (at times I've seen) motorcycle officers zapping cars as they round the corner from North to East. Shrubs block the 25mph speed limit sign until the officers have you. The officer said "It's a good spot to work."

A metro cop sits in a white new ford truck with his window cracked down halfway with a radar gun on the inside glass so you can't see it...As you pass by the posted limit is 25. Anything over 30 gets a $140 ticket. I was driving by this area on the 3rd day at about 11.30 at night. The whole sides of the streets where people stopped on the side, I counted 13 cars, no bikes. The neighbors were cheering the police on as they stopped people.

The trap usually has about 5-10 motorcycle officers with one running rader. It is run on the one-way stretch of Swenson between the airport tunnel and Tropicana. They clock you as you come over the hill just outside of the airport where the speed limit drops from 50 to 35.

The officer, usually on a motorcycle, will wait in one of the many side streets that line this road. There, they point, shoot and give you a ticket. The speed limit is 35 on a well lit road that has 2-3 lanes each way. A 45 MPH speed limit would be much better.

Cops on bikes hide just inside of Topaz and wait for people to whizz by on their way to Eastern, usually. I've seen numerous people busted there over many years. The speed limit is 25, but most people go 45. Just be aware of this.

Right as you get onto Patrick East from Eastern to Pecos, officers on motorcycles like to camp out in the various industrial buildings and parking lots that line this 1 mile or so stretch to Pecos. Pretty moderate enforcement, the speed limit is 35 MPH but it is easy to do 45-50 MPH, so be careful. Usually happens about once a week in the evenings from 5-6.

Alta next to the Suncoast. I have seen as well as have heard of people being pulled over there constantly. It is a 2 lane road with moderate traffic traveling 10-20 over constantly.

Got nailed coming down from mount charleston on the way to 95 south. Road is one lane in either direction and NHP in a marked SUV waits for motorists to pass someone (legally). When you speed up to pass in the opposing lane, smokey jumps out and tickets you. Naturally, you need to exceed the speed limit because you don't want to risk a head on collision for any longer than necessary.
