This is a frequent speed trap. It is a real money maker for the state. The plane circles for hours on any given day of the week. The patrol cars hide out at the exits waiting for word from the eye in the sky.

Comment (5/2003): Be very careful coming into Fernley via Alternate 95 from the south. It's downhill and the change to 25 mph is very quick. Also there is a school zone limit as soon as you enter the city. The city has recently incorporated and a local Reno resident told me that they need lots of start-up money.

Comment (6/2003): Airplane speed trap. Only going 80 in a 70. Someone else was pulled over 200 yards in front of me.
