State Police maintain a high visibility with Laser shot from over pass, as well as from stationary marked and unmarked cars.

Comment (6/2004): once you get past exit 15 there really is hardly anything. a buddy and i went 120+ onthe northway for 3hrs an nothing happend. however exit 8 has 2 trooper barricks

Comment (5/2004): Cops are often in clusters in this area, some with radar and others to pull people over. I've seen them from exits 13 through 15. I always slow down in this area.

Comment (6/2004): Between exit 15-17 it is a favorite place to catch speeders. The cars hide in the wooded area between the north and southbound lanes. There are normally NOT visible from the road.

Comment (7/2004): You couldn't have done 120+ for 3 hrs. The I87 Northway is less than 360 miles long. The Canadian Border is MM 176
