Several traps in median. Start south of Cross River exit and run down to Armonk line. NYSP cars on BOTH sides of median. Have seen large speed enforcement details of 4-6 cars including the "infamous' black Camaro !!! The use marked cars as well as "slicks" (no lightbar, hidden strobe lights)

Comment (4/2004): I've seen radar car on overpasses in Greenwich, CT area on 684 North and a line up of chasers on the entrance ramp. Got bagged in Bedford 4 years ago for $200 going 73 in 55.

Comment (4/2004): Ive seen 5 people pulled over during early afternoon hours just after exit 4 right around that turn which becomes a straight away going northbound

Comment (10/2004): I got pulled over near mile marker 9 on the southbound side. There were about 6 cars in the median and they all started swarming at once. Be careful! Didn't notice a black Camaro.

in the turn arrounds after bushes all up and down 684 but mostly between exits 2 and 3 they jsut sit out in the open and they blend right in. sometimes on the over pass of exit 2 they have a spotter and cars running up and down the highway
