High patrol area. Cops perpendicular to traffic in median turn-around/emergency cut-thru's, and lately also parked parallel to oncoming traffic near said cut-thrus, making them harder to spot at a distance. Nearer to shelby county, I have seen them parked on overpasses of exits, shooting their laser down onto interstate traffic. Often in charcoal-grey patrol cars, always Ford Crown-Vics.

Comment (8/2004): This section of I75 has the highest speeds on any interstate I have travelled. Anything to slow down the traffic is OK with me. Speeds exceeding 80 MPH are not uncommon.

Comment (3/2005): As OSP transitions to white cruisers, more of them will be seen instead of the grey. Also, local police and sheriff's deputies also sit along I75 in Shelby County, using radar any time of day.

Comment (9/2005): This a dangerous section of the interstate because of the high speeds. This is not a speed trap because the people stopped a doing outrageous speeds.

Comment (4/2006): highway patrol all over 75 in ohio so be careful on 75
