Speed limit quickly goes from 55MPH to 35 MPH to 25 MPH for a one-block area in middle of the village. Improperly labled a business district to support the lower speed limit. Village police rove back and forth along this short stretch.

Comment (1/2003): Some years ago the village got caught moving the corporation limit signs in and out with the express intent of confusing drivers about the speed limit. Not done anymore.

As this is a main road for a lot of people going to Lake Erie, officers sit in the parking lot of the Fire Dept. hidden behind the sign if you are heading north. The trap is just inside the city limits when the speed limit changes.
