Comment (1/2003): This is a training area for OSP and it is swarming with cops all the way south to East Liverpool.
Comment (1/2003): Austintown is a place to behave yourself wherever and anywhere you go there. I was "shot" going towards a police car on New Road at 2 in the afternoon.
Comment (10/2003): Also, beware of cruisers who already appeared to have people pulled over. Once, I was headed through here and noticed a state trooper pulled off on my side of the road with his lights flashing, as if he already had somebody pulled over. As I got closer, I noticed the trooper did NOT have anyone pulled over and was actually standing outside leaning against the passenger side gunning people coming towards him. Fortunately, I was going the speed limit and didn't get pulled over. Also be mindful of troopers on either side of the highway a few miles apart.Beware of this entire stretch of road...if it appears that the trooper already has someone pulled over in your lane, slow down anyways...it might just be a trap!!
