Sudden drop of 15mph (against state law) because of a "Park Zone" (non-existant in Oklahoma state law)

Comment (7/2004): Bethany cops are the worst. I was stopped for going 5 MPH over the limit! Given a drunk driving test (which I passed) They have a bad reputation in the Oklahoma City metro area for being... lets say..not the sharpest knifes in the drawer. They kept my license by "accident" too, the morons! I avoid this town like the plague.

This speed trap is enforced after Putnam City West lets out, to catch the kids who speed down the road. Many of the cases have been fair, however, you should be cautious and obey the law.

Police officer added 10mph to actual vehicle speed which was 2 mph over posted speed of 35mph. Stops on 23rd street near Rockwell Ave have been observed frequently.
