55 MPH speed posted well beyond nearest city limit, without any reasonable need to limit speed below standard 65 MPH limit. Ticketing officer stated speed radared as well beyond speed known to actually have been.

Comment (2/2006): I have lived near Afton all my life and I have never even been pulled over by the police. The speed limit has always been 55 MPH through there.

Comment (12/2007): I\'ve lived in Afton as well, and can well remember folks being pulled over for doing ONE MILE OVER the speed limit of 30 MPH thru downtown. After word got around, traffic thru Afton dropped (imagine that!)
