Freeway speeds drops to 35 MPH. Out of state licence plate greatly increases your chances of getting stopped.

Comment (5/2003): Not a freeway - simply 55 mph Hwy 101. Just like any other highway in Oregon, as well as many other states.

Comment (5/2003): The city limit signs have moved repeatedly in and out of the speed limit signs, now they have the city limit sign just outside of a bridge on the north end of town, where a radar officer will wait on top of the bridge while a patrolling officer in a car goes far outside of town and follows a speeder in past the radar officer, gets you from behind. The officer can also pop out of a side road just south of the bridge. They enforce a long ways out of town, both north and south with town officers. sometimes up to 3 officers, old cars, new cars and explorers.
