Comment (1/2003): Exit #298 east on ramp And just past rest area under overpass

Comment (5/2003): Approximately 10 miles out of Baker City heading west on I-84. Mountainous areas have you looking at reduced speed limits, usually construction zones, before you have time to slow down. OHP troopers are in Black unmarked cars using radar as tool to incriminate unsuspecting motorists. Tickets are priced at $175.00 per incident.

Comment (9/2003): The ticket used to be $175 but now is $242. Fines were raised across the board on September 1, 2003. Don't forget that the Troopers use pacing, VASCAR and airplanes, too!

Comment (4/2004): Baker City loves to run on I 84 westbound before the first exit to the city and then just outside the city on the eastbound side. It usually is blue cars like Camaros as I saw this past February.

Comment (04/2008): Baker City has stepped up speed patrols to catch drug runners. they have a new drug dog, marijuana.
