I believe they use radar. There is an area near Gaskill Road where the cops sit and wait. It's a good spot since you cannot see their car from either direction. The posted limit is 40 mph and it is a heavily traveled road which is quite difficult to stay at 40.

Comment (4/2003): They do not use radar. Salisbury PD will pace vehicles (follow and use their speedometer) or will use the white lines across the road. Local police cannot use radar in the state of PA. There are two other spots that are even more enforced: 1600 Blk Broadway (by the beer store) and E Susquehanna St by the auto repair shop.
