Midday when traveling up Charles Street towards Lincoln right before the 146 onramps on the side street before the on ramp to go North there is usually a North Providence cop. Occasionally there will also be one right across the street in the driveway.

Comment (12/2005): I have been driving through North Providence fro years. I notice that all the vehicle that are pulled over by the police are a mess. My advice is, if your car is a mess, stay out of North Providence!

Late night there is usually a North Providence cop either in the Merriville parking lot, or in the Doctors office next door right when you get off 146 Northbound. They almost never have their lights on, and if they do its just parking lights. They nab people constantly
