Along this stretch to North Trenholm the Forest Acres Police routinely park in the many Church, etc parking lots. This is a long stretch with only one traffic light so it is easy to get above the posted 40mph. But they WILL stop you! They will sometimes be nice & give you a warning or some other type of ticket (licence plate light out) and also may tell you about the young driver loophole where you can take a defensive driving class and not pay a fine or get points.

Comment (3/2006): Lived in RI for 37 years but have never heard of a jurisdiction known as Forest Acres, Suspect thisis a hoax since with so few jurisdictions in a tiny state with only a few hundred villages some moredefinitive location information could easily be given

Comment (5/2006): I think this gentleman got his states mixed up. From what I can tell, North Trenholm Road is in Columbia, South Carolina.
