Speed limit is 40 mph on a 4 lane hwy. that should be at least 55. I was only doing ten miles over the speed limit, and the cop used this to put me through field sobriety testing, which I felt was completely unjust....

Comment (3/2006): Student Drivers Concern You? How about the locals who make it a habit to driver UNDER 40 in the left lane at all times and then don't use their turn signals?

Comment (3/2006): Yes, I've been pulled here as well. In reality, it isn't so much the stretch at Issaqueena that is bad, but when you are exiting Central going towards Clemson, be VERY careful, because law enforcement squats almost continuously at either the Plez-U, or on the cemetery access road across from it, and they know that natives will go to 40 while the limit is still technically 30. One other related note: NEVER enter the parking spaces on one side of the road by crossing to that side from the opposite lane. Central police will literally wait until you have finished shopping/eating and then ticket you as you back out of your space for having committed a U-Turn!

Comment (5/2005): Yes, speed limit is frustratingly slow on this stretch of 93. Very, very east to go over 40 mph on a 4-lane road.

Comment (9/2005): To many student drivers there most aren't watching where they are going . 40 is fast enough

Comment (11/2006): update listings, this one is for 2004 speedtraps.
