Comment (8/2006): These comments are very accurate. I work in Wadesboro NC and have passed all the vehicles they talked about. Two weeks ago the charger had an 18 wheeler stopped one morning. Just be careful and keep your speed below 61.

Comment (12/2008): BEWARE Society Hill - Barney Fife, Junior lurks there. I was stopped a few days ago and given a speeding ticket for $185. This town is a real speed trap - it has all of 6 or 8 scattered stores with a few houses nearby on # 52 - then the stretch turns into rural, tree lined vacant areas so you assume you are out of the 35 mile zone but you aren\'t. Motorists are deceived with the town\'s layout. This is a hick town near my former home town of Chesterfield and this is the main way the town is able to subsidize its pathetic existence. So beware.
