County mounties as well as city enforcement. Also state troopers at times. At dusk as well as evening. East side of Groton speed drops from 65 to 55 and then to 40. They will and do pick you up at will.

Comment (06/2008): 6/2008 When I was a Groton cop, I used to work Highway 12 every night. I likened myself to a \"street musician.\" I\'d be out there playing and playing and people would just come up and give me their donation. You can\'t argue the fact that when it all comes down to the end...You were speeding and in Groton there are signs a plenty to warn you.

Comment (08/2008): On August 30th 2008 I watched aleast 6 cars pulled over for speeding within an hour period. These cops will pull you over for ANYTHING! Even a dirty license plate, NO JOKE! It\'s all about MONEY in Groton, SD. Good luck!
