As you leave from Deadwood (East) you come up a hill that tee's. At the tee you can go toward Spearfish or through Boulder Canyon to Sturgis. Going through boulder canyon you continue up the hill at 35mph.....at the top of the hill the speed limit changes to 55. A deputy likes to sit on the other side of the hill and clock you right before the sign.

Comment (2/2006): Ever notice the number of signs marking the locations of people killed in car accidents on that road?? There is a reason the speed limit is strictly enforced.
