State Hwy 70/79 just outside Brownsville in the Allen community speed limit drops from 55 to 45 but the sign in the west bound lane is overgrown with trees but as the officer says it is there and really be careful if on a motorcycle

Comment (7/2004): Yes this is true, my teenager ran into this same problem.

Comment (5/2005): The speed zone in question is a "Yellow Sign". Witch means suggested speed, "Not The Speed Limit". The speed limit through Allen is 55 mph.
