Comment (6/2005): Yes thay are Tn Drug Task Force in white unmark SUV and sadans, they will pull over out of state and search your car for any resson BUT will not pull over TN tag cars unless they are going over 15 over the speed limit, thay will search about 20 to 30 cars a day, If they are not 20 miles west of Nashville thay will be 20 miles north of Nashville on I65I see them every day on my way to work and back.

Metro Police Sit in the Summit Oaks Drive off of Old Hickory Blvd aiming laser up the hill at on coming cars. The posted speed limit is 45 and they will stop cars for even 5 over. They usually sit there really late at night. Also about 100 feet down the road they will sit at the Inn Town Weekly suites and right across the road in that apartment complex doing the same thing.

Metro Police routinley sit at the Bellevue Road/Bellevue Road North fork by the church clocking drivers as they crest the hill. There is no warning what-so-ever. When they are there, they usually have 2-4 officers working this at a time. The posted limit on this road is 30 which is absolutly absurd, but they will get you for doing anything over that. It's really just best to avoid this road completly in my opinion.
