Tennessee Highway Patrol and Sullivan County Shariff cruisers park under the Airport Parkway bridge behind the center pier in the median of I-81.

Comment (11/2004): I am a resident of Blountville and the officer wrote me a ticket for 76 mph in a 70 zone and then gave me a hassle about my logbook (tractor trailer). My log book was legal and the officer supposedly pulled me out of very heavy traffic with his means of detection. Be very careful in this area because if they wont give a local the benefit of the doubt then I would hate to see what he would do to an out of towner.
