Just south of rest areas in median. Heavily treed area with poplice turn arounds. Easy for them to hide and shoot throught the trees.

APD will enforce speeding violators ALL day long! The officers if not radaring while patroling along Decatur Pike, they will usually sit at Athens Karate or somewhere near the area... due to either the darkness of the night or the rush of the day you will not recognize them.. Be very careful!

They usually set up a "you are going (40) mph" signs that i love to fly by going 90 a few days in advance of setting up the trap but usually once every month or more.

cops constantly drive around the park on weekend nights targeting the "younger" crowd. The park is known for attracting street racers. I got caught doing donuts there and was issued an $85 ticket for "squeeling my tires" I sat for at least 5 minutes looking around before I started and never saw a thing until I was done and he pulled up behind me flashing red and blue. Just don't go to the park for that stuff, I also heard that the "double O" where ever that is also attracts the racing crowd.
