Road between Memphis-Arlington and Airline Road. The Sheriff patrol is usually between the new Arlington High School and Arlington Developmental Center. This trap was located in the entrance of Summer Meadows subdivision. Be very cautious as TWO sheriff officers clock those coming in both directions. The speed limit is 30! This is very misleading due to speed limits of 40 and 45 on adjacent roads. They do not give warnings, and often are seen on the corner looking into cars for seat belts. Be careful as the car is parked within the subdivision, and is hidden. Needless to say I received a ticket for going 45 in a 30 zone. Hope this saves you the burden of a ridiculous ticket. Good luck.
Comment (8/2004): Entering the housing subdivision you should not be doing 45 anyway and deserved the ticket
Comment (5/2005): Memphis Arlington Rd is also a speed trap and is regularly checked by radar patrols. The speed limit is only 30 miles per hour ALL the way to the city line where it jumps to 45 miles an hour as soon as you get to the Lakeland line.

Officer parks just inside the entrance to the mobile home park on the north side of Division. You tend to pick up just a little speed as you come down the hill. It's easy to do and you get down the hill and ZAP! there he is! Too late! I'm very conscious now every time I head west on Division.
