The area of concern is about 1-1/2 mile east of this intersection off to the right of the "Northbound" lane of traffic at the edge of the wooded area. As you approach the radar area, from either direction, a gradual grade and slight curve restricts your field of view. Then you crest the hill and begin decent on the other side which has the vehicle travelling a somewhat faster speed than you would probably drive. Too late....you've been clocked and by the time you reach Exit 69 you have either been pulled over or another officer is awaiting your arrival and will pull you over. The posted speed in this area is 70 MPH.

Comment (2/2006): That stretch is now a construction zone. Speed limit is 55. It is posted and also says strict enforcement. Hiway patrol is usually there everyday. They have unmaked cruiser and unmark explorer. One will sit going south oterh will sit going north.Good thing is speed limit is only 55 for about 2 miles. Better slow it down.

Comment (2/2006): Watch out on Carden Hollow Rd.! They sit at the junk yard on the stright stretch. It's only 35 through there. Sullivan County is the ones who sit there.
