Just as you are coming into Bedford County from Rutherford County along 231 the speed limit drops from 65 to 55 as you go over a hill. The sign is smaller than most speed limit signs and you might miss it, though right before it is a Reduce Speed Ahead sign. There will be a cop waiting at the bottom for you. There is no apparent reason for this decrease in speed since you are still out in the country and about 2 miles later it is back up to 65 MPH. This is a definate speed trap just to generate more money for the county.
