Between Madrone Ranch subdivision entrance and Longhorn Skyway (Deer Creek Subdivision entrance) there is a private driveway where a pair of county motorcycle patrol officers lurk in silhouette of the 7:30 a.m. sunrise. They usually get folks coming down the big hill East bound on FM3238 (aka Hamilton Pool Road) just .5 mile East of the intersection of FM3238 and Ranch Road 12. These officers also are very foolishly not afraid to step out into the middle of the road to try and halt 60+ mph on-coming traffic. This trap is usually conducted toward the first or last days of each month, giving the appearance of a possible quota quest.

Comment (6/2006): We don't have a quota...they let us write as many as we want

Comment (9/2006): “We don't have a quota...they let us write as many as we want.” That’s a ceiling; a quota is a floor. Try writing no citations and tell us how long you would last before disciplinary action.
