Traveling on 290 East or West around 183 exit there is usually a cop sitting at the bottom of the hill to catch speeders. The speed limit is 55, so it is easy to exceed the speed limit down from the hill. Heading East on 290 they park around the 183 exit sign, hiding, then they will get ya. Why this road is not 60 or even 65 mph does not make sense to me.

Comment (12/2006): I worked in that area and sometimes there were 3 cops running their radar at the same time. They are there all the time. The posted speed limit is 55 and it is highly recommended you drive that speed.
