Within the construction area right after the last exit to Farmington there is a large area for troopers to hide. Watch out because they will oversight you after getting hit with radar. They will get the inital speed with Radar and then tail for a long time and try to get you with a much higher rate of speed. The Trooper who pulled me over placed my speed 5 over what I was going so becareful in this corridor. It is a hot zone and I would recomend staying within the 10 gap of 65 untill outside of layton.

Comment (8/2004): The worst part of this area is near the rest areas about 1 mile north of the construction

Comment (12/2005): Also be careful because the POSTED speed limit for this area is 55MPH. Can be a real kicker if you're going much over 65 because at 65 they can already TECHNICALLY bust you for 10 over. Watch out.
