The Texas State Hi-Way Patrol has begun patroling the area between Bethany, TX/LA from the state line to Panola lately. The area is 45 mph in Bethany to 65 mph past Panola/FM9 where it used to be 70 mph. Tickets are issued for 5 mph and over above posted limits. Don't pass one going your way, you'll be sorry.
