Bravo to the State Police of Virginia. You have done well in giving the County of Bath plenty of surplus money thanks to your overzealous officers. One state trooper even said, "When I came back to Bath County, I plan to make a name for myself!" This he certainly has...but it's not the names to be proud of. For those guests who wish to visit Bath County, we welcome you, but if you plan to stay at the Homestead, take your money to The Greenbrier in West Virginia where the cops are not tax collectors for the state. Avoid Bath County and you'll avoid a ticket.
