There is a photo camera mounted on a tan colored pole on the East side of GW Parkway pointed North located at the parking lot of the Gravelly Point marina. If appears to be set to catch southbound motorists exiting a blind curve on their way to the airport. Speed limit is 40 mph; normal traffic flow is 50-55 mph. This appears to be the only camera between the 14th Street Bridge and Old Town Alexandria. I have not identified any cameras monitoring Northbound traffic on this segment of GW Parkway.

Cop is waiting at the bottom of the hill on Spout Run Parkway, just before it ends and dumps you onto George Washington Parkway. He will get you going around a blind curve. You can't see him until it's too late.
